Rapid son qat

 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A single component, rapid drying modified alkyd finish, designed to provide both anti-corrosive properties and a decorative finish in a single coat.
INTENDED USES
Corella rapid boya (rapid paint) has been designed for use as a single system to afford anti-corrosive protection for structural steelwork exposed to the environment where cosmetic appearance is important, e.g. in dry internal areas or low corrosivity external environments.
It is particularly suited for use as a rapid drying versatile finish designed to maximize the steel throughput in fabrication yards.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS
All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination. Prior to paint application, all surfaces should be assessed and treated in accordance with ISO 8504:2000. Oil or grease should be removed in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.
Abrasive Blast Cleaning
Abrasive blast clean to SSPC SP6 or Sa2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007). If oxidation has occurred between blasting and application of Azpol İndustrial paint(Rapid paint) the surface should be reblasted to the specified visual standard. Surface defects revealed by the blast cleaning process should be ground, filled, or treated in the appropriate manner. Azpol İndustrial paint(Rapid paint) is suitable for application to blast cleaned surfaces which were initially to the above standard but have been allowed to deteriorate under good shop conditions for up to 7-10 days. The surface may deteriorate to Sa2 standard but must be free from loose powdery deposits.

Work Stoppages and Cleanup
Thoroughly flush all equipment with Azpol Rapid Tiner. All unused material should be stored in tightly closed containers. Partially filled containers may show surface skinning and/or a viscosity increase of the material after storage. Material should be filtered prior to use.
Clean all equipment immediately after use with Azpol Rapid Tiner. It is good working practice to periodically flush out spray equipment during the course of the working day.
Frequency of cleaning will depend upon amount sprayed, temperature and elapsed time, including any delays.
All surplus materials and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with appropriate regional regulations/ legislation.
